Printing Tips

Recommended for printers with direct drive extruder, 0.4~0.8mm Nozzles.

With bowden extruder you might pay more attention to these tips:

– Print slow 15-30 mm/s Printing speed

– First layer settings. (Height 100% Width 150% speed 50% e.g.)

– Retraction disabled. This would reduce messy, clog, stringing or oozing printing result.

– Increase Multiplier(Optional). set to 1.1 would help the filament bond well. – Cooling fan on after first layer.

TPU, Thermoplastic PolyUrethane, is a type of ThermoPlastic Elastomer. As 3d printer filament, Tpu has higher elasticity, greater chemical resistance, and lower shrinkage. Due to the elasticity and excellent layer adhesion, Tpu is the unique material in 3d printing.

TPU has different advantages including ability to perform at low temperature, resistance to abrasion and mechanical properties along with rubber-like elasticity. Meanwhile, TPU has great resistance to grease, oil, and abrasion. This make tpu widely using in business applications, including drive belts, medical devices, caster wheels, footwear and mobile phone cases.

Tpu filament is much more flexible than abs or pla. It can bend easily without any effect on durability and strength. Furthermore, there are different hardness of TPU materialfor usage, It is from 80A to 64 D shore hardness.
